Diko was not like any other real estate agent who just want to take your money. Diko is the most patience and caring agent I’ve ever met and interacted. He generously cares for all his clients, he gives his client 110% effort also made sure the developer I chose built in good quality, in good area and If not he would, he would be honest with me. Diko also does not rush me to buy any property or force me to buy something if I don’t like it, he would provide me more options and or even spend extra time viewing the pre-sale, I first felt really bad because I was taking too long to decide however Diko mentioned that if i don’t like it, he could do more research based on my preference (area, style, convenience, and budget) . We first met Kamer when we relocated to West Vancouver and bought a house he owned from him. His straightforward negotiations and honest approach impressed us. As well, having lived on the North Shore for many years, he also showed a great deal of knowledge about the North Shore Real Estate market. For these reasons, when we were considering purchasing an investment property in West Vancouver, we asked Kamer to help us. Again, we found him to be accommodating and vigilant concerning new listings. He kept us aware of the market, but did not make us feel pressured into buying. Finally, the “right” house came on the market, and while the transaction required a sense of urgency, Kamer made it an uncomplicated matter.

Diko has been a huge help with purchasing my apartment. Being a new buyer, I had no idea what how much work there was, and how little I knew. Diko was very knowledgeable and guided me throughout the process, asked the right questions, and was always prepared to give me the run down before about each apartment before we went for a showing. He was honest about the positives and negatives of each property, and never sugar coated any of the negatives, I really appreciate how he told you how it really is. If the was ever an urgent matter, and Diko was unavailable, I always had the possibility to call or message Kamer and Brigitte, who were always happy to help! Even though the process took months for me to find the place that I really liked (I kept changing my mind), Diko was patient and never let my indecisiveness affect the quality of service he provided. Ten years after helping me buy my condo, I felt compelled to write a review (the mortgage broker he had recommended all of those years ago really came through for me recently). Kamer was a wonderful realtor. Knowledgeable, tireless, patient, and absolutely trustworthy. He even brought a ladder and some tools and repaired some minor damage left by the tenant who had been occupying the place previously. I recall he also changed a lightbulb in my 16-foot high ceiling. He had said he didn't want these details to dampen my enthusiasm about owning my first place. A gem of a man.

The exceptional support and professionalism of Diko and the Karakas Team behind him made possible an unimaginably quick sale of a challenging property. We couldn’t be more thrilled! We first met Diko after he left his brochure on our father’s doorstep and my father contacted him for a potential sale of his townhome. We were truly impressed with Diko’s genuine and friendly qualities and although my father didn’t engage him with his property, we thought his energy along with what we perceived to be a detailed and analytic mind would be perfect to represent us on a potentially challenging sale of a 40 year old 2bed 1bath condo without in-suite laundry in a building with multiple units on the market sitting unsold. And we weren’t wrong. We brought him into the process at the very beginning of a months long renovation and leveraged his market knowledge to provide guidance into what renovations would bring the highest buyer interest and market value. Diko gave only realistic guidance and even pointed out positives in some very dated fixtures to help give us all options for renovations. He gave us potential market values that we used to decide on the scope of the renovations, and he made sure we wouldn’t find ourselves stressing too much about the renovations—he was actually concerned about our well-being! When it came to actually selling the condo, Diko included a fantastic video, professional photography that went with a very luxurious brochure. Despite the fact that our unit was older and considered entry level did not cause Diko to compromise in giving us everything he offers his higher end properties. The property truly looked luxurious under his direction. The result was a sale (over asking!) after only 2 days on the market. We couldn’t imagine a better result and truly believe Diko and Team Karakas made this possible.

We’d like to share with you our recent home buying experience with
Prudential agent Kamer Karakas. When we set out to buy a new home, we had very specific requirements in mind. For almost a year Kamer showed us a many homes that had just one of these elements missing. Never did he get frustrated, give up, or apply any undo pressure. Until one day the right home appeared on the market. We actually saw it before the “For Sale” sign went up because he was constantly monitoring new listings on the computer. As soon as it was listed, we were there first. And when we saw it we knew. We made the decision to buy this house in one hour. I’ve spent more time buying shoes. The reason we were so comfortable in making such a quick decision was that Kamer had done his homework and shown us enough homes so that we knew the market well enough to realize this is the home we wanted. The house did require some renovations. The great part was that Kamer, who has built several homes, was very helpful in advising us and recommending reliable trades people he had worked with before. Although we ourselves had no prior experience in home renovation, with Kamer’s help it was on budget and on time.
